Unlock Energy, Confidence, and Results through a Personal Strengths Debrief

In today’s fast-paced work environment, employees are under more pressure than ever to deliver results, manage change, and stay motivated. As leaders, we often focus on developing our people through a focus on objectives and what individuals are working on – but what if there was a way to unlock potential that’s already there, waiting to be tapped?

That’s exactly what our Personal Strengths Debrief Session is designed to do.

Whether someone is stepping into a new role, facing a challenging project, or simply in need of a boost, this session acts as a powerful reset – helping individuals become more energised, more self-aware, and more effective in their role.

What Is a Personal Strengths Debrief?

Our debrief session is a 1:1 coaching conversation focused on helping an individual identify and understand their unique energisers—the personal strengths that drive how they work, solve problems, and add value to the organisation.

Using the insights from their unique Strengthscope® report, we explore:

  • What’s working well in their current role
  • Where they’re making the most impact
  • Which strengths are powering their performance
  • What might be draining their energy or holding them back

It’s not just a reflective exercise—it’s an empowering experience that builds self-belief and clarity about where to focus optimising their strengths to get results.

It’s More Than Just Positivity

While strengths-based coaching is rooted in positive psychology, that doesn’t mean we ignore challenges.

In fact, we go deeper than simply identifying “what’s going well.” We ascertain areas where energy drainers may be impacting performance, and work together to create strategies and find resources to reduce their impact.

We also explore where strengths may be in Overdrive—when someone’s natural strengths are being used to excess, potentially leading to friction in teams, fatigue for the individual, or decreased effectiveness in achieving results.

Building an understanding of how this looks for individuals and identifying techniques to overcome these overdrive risks results in better relationships and more productive individuals.

A Strengths-Based Action Plan

The true power of the debrief lies in the personalised action plan we support the individual in creating.

This plan optimises strengths to:

  • Proactively problem-solve
  • Achieve existing goals
  • Build confidence and motivation

Rather than a generic development plan, this is tailored to how the individual works at their best – making it far more likely they’ll have the motivation to take their actions and build confidence through doing it.

Why Now?

💡 Lightbulb moments happen when people realise the full impact their strengths are already having.

⏩️ Proactive ideas emerge when they see how to apply their strengths to specific goals.

📈 Stronger collaboration follows when they stop trying to be good at everything – and start spotting and appreciating strengths in others.

This month alone, we’ve supported over 20 managers and leaders through this process. Each session brings new insight, renewed energy, and clear direction – not just impacting the individual, but their teams and their organisation as a whole.
